Lisa offered to share her unique love story about how she met her now husband Robert. As Lisa and I began chatting it was clear that their wedding was unique and that of a fairy tale! Robert and Lisa are from Westchester, but they chose one the most famous historical gems as their wedding destination, Oheka Castle! We hope everyone enjoys this sweet love story followed by photos and vendors from one of the most incredible Long Island weddings! Get ready to be inspired by this beautiful couple!
And So Lisa And Robert's Love Story Began! In Lisa's Words...
How we met:
What started out as a practical joke, became a true love story. My husband Robert and I met 6 years ago because of a prank his friends and I played on him, mind you I had never personally met him before that day. Pretending to be someone else, we tricked my now husband into thinking I was a random addition to their daily group chat. The jokes ensued for about a week and everything unfolded when a group dinner was planned. Robert attended this dinner solely to find out who I really was. It was there that a connection to last a lifetime was made. Robert asked me out on an official date, and since we both got along and shared similar humor, I decided to accept. We went out to dinner at the beautiful New York City restaurant Del Posto and had drinks afterwards. The beginning of forever began the day I pressed “send”.
